Yolanda "Lani" De Peri

De Peri, Yolanda (Mastrodonato) Lani , 86 of Clifton on October 22, 2014. Beloved daughter of the late Vitale and Emilia (Ciarniello) Mastrodonato. Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Charles De Peri. Loving mother of Charles Jr. and his wife Eileen, Michael and his wife Janet, John and his wife Laura, Kathleen Perow and her husband Lawrence and Janice Haefeli and her husband Brian. Dear sister of Angelo Mastrodonato and the late Elsie Ciminello. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Lani was born in Bagnoli del Trigno, Italy and came to the United States in 1935 settling in Clifton. She was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church and a current parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton where she was a member of the Prime Timers Club. She was a member of the Women s Guild of Passaic General Hospital, serving as Vice President and Treasurer and volunteered in the gift shop for 14 years; she also ran their bus trips to Atlantic City; she was also a member of the Clifton Richfield AARP # 4192. She loved roller skating, dancing, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her family. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Monday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church at 10 AM. Entombment at St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visiting Sunday 2- 6 PM. In Lieu flowers donations can be made to the Hospice of New Jersey 400 Broadacres Drive, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
