Wasyl Wintoniw

Wintoniw, Wasyl, 87, of Clifton on April 26, 2011. Beloved husband to Maria (Cap) Wintoniw. Loving father to Lesia Albizati and her husband Daniel of Clifton. Devoted grandfather to Nicholas and Mark Albizati. Mr. Wintoniw was born in Solukiw, Ukraine and came to the U.S. from Germany in 1950 settling in Bayonne; he moved to Clifton in 2000. He was employed with General Cable/Perrelli in Bayonne for 30 years subsequently he worked for the city of Bayonne as a Health Inspector for 10 years. He was Past President of the Ukrainian National Home in Bayonne and was also Past President of the O.D.F.F.U in Bayonne. He was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 8:45 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukr. Cath. Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
