Walter Andruch

Andruch, Walter, 83 of Kerhonkson, NY/Garfield, NJ passed away on February 14, 2012. Beloved husband of Anastazia (Peltyszyn) Andruch. Loving father to Myron, Lesia and her husband Alex Leniw and Irene and her husband George Bukalo. Cherished grandfather to Olesh, Mark, Nadya, Catie and Daniel. Brother to Helena Tabisz and the late Stefan Andruch and Maria Podolak. Mr. Andruch was born in Ukraine and came to the U.S. in 1961 settling in Passaic before moving to Garfield in 1972. He was a member of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, the Organization for Defense of Four Freedoms for Ukraine and U.A.Y.A s parents committee. He worked at Hoffmann-La Roche before retiring in Kerhonkson, NY. Mr. Andruch was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Kerhonkson, NY for the past 23 years. Before moving to Kerhonkson, he was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic for 28 years. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 8:30 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Spirit Hamptonburg, NY. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parastas Friday at 7:30 PM
