Vivian Patricia Cannady, a devoted wife and loving mother, was an independent, social and radiant woman who brought warmth and joy to all who had the good fortune to know her. A homeowner and long standing resident of the Township of Montclair for nearly 49 years, Vivian Cannady remained active in the community even as a senior, working Part -Time for theTownship of Montclair as a School Crossing Guard Crossing, due to her affection for the school children. For her dedication, Vivian received a certificate for 25 years of service, she was well-liked, admired and respected by the Montclair Township employees, the police and fire department. Vivian is survived by her husband, William A. Cannady, her sons, William L. Cannady and Mark W. Canndy, and her daughter Dawn T. Fletcher. A memorial service will be held for Vivian Cannady at St. Peter Claver Church on Saturday, April 6th at 9:00 a.m. located a 56 Elmwood Avenue,Montclair, NJ 07042 to be immediately followed by a repast at the MLK Hall at the same address.
