Jasper, Vincenza Josephine (nee Morici), 82, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009. Born in Passaic, NJ on October 9, 1927 to the parents of Dr. and Mrs. Theodore Morici, sister to the late Jerome Theodore. Beloved wife of Dr. Philip Jasper for fifty six years and loving mother of her six children Mrs. Carmel Kostiuk and her husband George, Dr. Gabriel Jasper, Dr. Josephine Jasper, Dr. Theodore Jasper aand his wife Dr. Tiziana Pensabeni - Jasper, Mrs. Maria Carusone and her husband Joseph, Mrs. Vincenza Paz and her husband Deputy Chief Matthew Paz. Joyous grandmother to Alexandria, Felicia, Josephine, Gabriella, Luca, Daniela, Teddy, Philip, Alfredo and Joseph, wonderful cousin to all the Zafonte s, Morici s and Gerardi s and Vetri s , long standing families in the Passaic, Clifton and Garfield area, and her dear caregiver and friend Emilia Nowak. She was our Rock, who attended McGill Medical School and became a wonderful wife, mother grandmother and family confident to all her friends. The ultimate matriarch who was also a science teacher of Benedictine Academy in Paterson, NJ, a fantastic artist who spent many hours with the Golden Girls on the Ladies Hospital Auxillary for the Passaic Hospitals to better our community. She will be greatly missed. We have lost a great source of energy to a better place where we will meet again. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Followed by Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church Passaic at 9:30 AM on December 5th, 2009. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting this Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
