Madsen, Veronica (Kantor), 87, of Clifton on September 20, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Joseph Madsen. Loving mother to Lawrence Joseph Madsen, Jr. of Hawley, PA, Carol Ann Madsen of Clifton and Cynthia Madsen of Clifton. Sister to Margaret Wos of East Rutherford. Grandmother to Jeffrey, Lauren & the late John Clifford . Also survived by 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Madsen was born in Shelton, CT. and lived most of her life in Clifton. She was a parishioner of St. Michael s Cathedral - Passaic , a member - NJ State Employees Association. Served as a Commissioner - Camp Hope, Life Member Ladies Auxiliary - V.F.W. Post 7165 Clifton, Ladies Auxiliary - DAV Chapter # 2 - Clifton - PP - Clifton Women's Democratic Club. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Thursday at 10:15 AM. followed by a funeral mass at St. Michael s Cathedral at 11 AM. Cremation East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 9-10:15 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Michael s Cathedral would be appreciated.
