Todd passed away unexpectedly due to a tragic accident. His sudden loss has left an unfillable void in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
From a young age, Todd had a love for adventure and the outdoors — whether it was fishing by the water, riding ATVs with friends, or cheering on his favorite auto racers. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially when he was behind the grill. He liked to cook, but he loved to grill — and no one could fire up a barbecue quite like Todd.
Todd had a presence that could brighten even the darkest of rooms. A natural jokester with a heart of gold, he had a gift for making others laugh and lifting spirits when it mattered most. He was selfless to his core — always showing up for others, always giving. In his final act of generosity, Todd gave the gift of life by donating his organs — a true hero until the very end He will be forever remembered as a son, a brother, a nephew, a friend, and most importantly, a light in this world. He is and always will be our Hero.
Todd was a proud member of the Vintage Sports Car Club of America, following in the tire tracks of his father and grandfather. He had a deep love for racing his 1959 Lotus Series One, and in his very first race in 2016, he made an unforgettable debut. Piloting his Lotus Seven, Todd defied the odds and claimed overall victories in both races-beating out faster cars and more experienced drivers.
Starting in third place, he consistently surged into the lead each time they entered the straightaway. However, the advantage of more powerful engines allowed one or two competitors to pass him before the end of the straight. Still, lap after lap, Todd found himself leading at the start of the straight-away, his driving skills clearly on display. Against all expectations. he crossed the finish line first in both races, securing a stunning double win.
