Tessie Palatini

Palatini, Tessie, 104 of Somerville, passed away on January 26, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Henry Palatini. Loving mother to Roger Palatini and the late Maryann Priday. Mother-in-law of Joseph Priday and Linda Palatini. Grandmother to Michael & his wife Amy, Ryan & his wife Tara, Justin & his wife Haley, Laura Badura & her husband Matt, Lauren Mack & her husband Wales and Danielle Lagonigro & her husband Paul. Sister to William Bonetti. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and by her niece Lisa and family.

Tessie was born in Clifton, NJ and moved to Italy at age 12. She returned to America in 1940 and married Henry Palatini in 1942. She worked for Weston Biscuit in Passaic for 28 years, retiring in 1973. She lived in Somerville for the past 16 years.

In the words of her late daughter Maryann, “Mom, you have made all of us very blessed by reaching our souls with your fine example of God’s teaching: ‘Love One Another as I Have Loved You.’ We love you very much and always will.”

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton on Saturday at 8:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery.
