Steve Sawka

Sawka, Steve, 60, of Pine Brook on October 21, 2009. Beloved husband of Irene (Worona) Sawka. Loving father to Deanna Sawka Olivo of Pine Brook and the late Steven D. Sawka. Grandfather to Matthew Ryan Olivo and Cianna Rae Olivo. Brother to Anne Albanese of Hasbrouck Heights and Michael P. Sawka of East Rutherford. Mr. Sawka was born in Lutz, Belgium and came to the US in 1950 settling in Clifton before moving to Pine Brook in 1985. He was a Chemical Operator at Hoffman La Roche in Nutley for 35 years. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church Passaic at 9:30 AM Entombment Restland Memorial Park East Hanover. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9. Parastas Friday at 7:30 PM.
