Sr. Marie Dorothy Palatini

Palatini, Sr. Marie OSF, 81 of Allegany, NY on October 24, 2007. Beloved sister of Bart Palatini of Clifton. Sr. Palatini was received into the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, NY in 1956 and professed her final vows in 1963. She taught at St. Clare s School, Buffalo, NY, St. Virgilius School, Broad Channel, NY, St. Mary s School , Rome, NY, Christ the King School, Synder, NY and St. Paul s School, Highland Park, NY. She was named secretary for the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany Associate Program in 1987. In 1999 she retired to St. Elizabeth Mother house and resided until her death on Wednesday. Sr. Marie held a BS Ed. From St. Elizabeth Teacher s College, Allegany, NY and an MA in Education from Seton Hall University, So. Orange, NJ A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel of St. Elizabeth Motherhouse at 7 PM on Thursday. Interment will be Friday 1:30 PM at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi, NJ Local arrangement by Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton
