Sonya Kim Henault of Clifton, New Jersey, entered eternal life peacefully on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024, after a two year battle with Leukemia, she was 78. Sonya was born in Geumsan, South Korea, on August 29th, 1945, to Tae Suk and Oh Yee (Lee) Kim. After moving to the United States, Sonya settled in Georgia where she married the love of her life, Retired Veteran, Command Sergent Major Robert Henault on November 22nd, 1975. Then they moved to Washington D.C where they spent ten and a half loving years together. As a devoted wife to a U.S. Army Service member, Sonya lived on and near Army bases across the US and overseas, ultimately spending over twenty years combined in Taegu and Yongsan South Korea. Before becoming a full time mother, Sonya worked as a line supervisor for Pulse Electronics in Rockville Maryland.
