Santo Fred Pecchio

Santo Fred Pecchio of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, entered eternal life, Thursday, April 10, 2025. He was 101. Santo was born on May 9, 1923, in New York, NY, to Nicodemo and Maria Anna (De Negri) Pecchia. From 1944 to 1946 during WWII, Santo was enlisted in the United States Army. He then went on to become an Electric Engineer, working for Hewlett Packard. Santo loved being with his family. He also had a passion for reading, walking, science, nature, and wood carving. He is survived by his three loving children, Steven, Roseann, and Sandra Weeks and her husband Raymond. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Stephanie and her late husband John Paul, Emily and her husband Bobby and Mollie and his dear great grandchild, Remi. Santo is predeceased by his beloved wife of 72 years, Ida (De Biase) Pecchio, his brother Fernando and his sister Elizabeth Buchar. Visiting will be held 4-8pm, Monday, April 14, 2025 Marrocco Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday, April 15 at 11 AM. Santo will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, 58 McLean Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07513.
