Salvatore Caravella

Caravella, Salvatore Sam , 69, of Kinnelon, on December 1, 2007. Beloved husband for 45 years of Norma (Giardina). Devoted father to Sam Caravella & his wife Diane, Donna & her husband Dominic Colucci, New Milford & Carole & her husband Paul Lazzaro, Kinnelon. Loving grandfather to Christina, Salvatore, Jacqueline, Gabriel, Alexis, Emelia, Vincent & Edward. He is also survived by his siblings Rose Sharry, Ninfa Caravella, Marie Dolci, Lucy Sangiorgio, Joseph, James & the late Raymond. Mr. Caravella was born in Mezzojuso, Sicily and came to the US in 1946 settling in Garfield. He lived in Pompton Plains for 30 years, then Toms River & Barneget for 12 years before moving to Kinnelon this year. Mr. Caravella was a self employed general contractor for 30 years. He was also an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral mass at Holy Spirit RC Church Pequannock 10 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9
