Harvey, Rosemarie (Eileen), née Ventimiglia, of Clifton, passed away on November 25, 2022 at the age of 92. Beloved life companion of Joseph Bonardi. Loving mother of Harriet and her husband Ted A. Bohus, and David and his wife Patricia. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Vivian Ventimiglia and Joan Venti, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Born in 1930, Rosemarie was raised in Brooklyn, NY before settling in Clifton where she worked and raised her family. She was very active in St. John’s Church in Passaic for many years.
She was an unapologetic, life-long activist for civil and equal rights, inspiring others with her passionate and unwavering dedication to these causes.
Rosemarie had a warm, affectionate and welcoming nature that garnered her a vast circle of extended family and friends, many of whom lovingly considered her a mother figure.
Her intellect equaled her kindness and compassion. She was extremely well read, made evident by her encyclopedic knowledge of an extensive range of subjects, and she had an uncanny ability to remember names and details that was truly extraordinary.
A Bright Sun with a wide-reaching orbit, Rosemarie was truly admired, truly loved, and will truly be missed. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. John's Church.
Funeral Mass on Saturday December 3, 2022, at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Church in Passaic. Visiting on Friday December 2, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Ave. Clifton, NJ.
