Robert J. Sautner

Sautner, Robert,78, of Elmwood Park on March 12, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife Rose(Janowicz) of 53 years and 2 sons Michael & his wife Luz of Cedar Grove and Richard & his wife Rosa of Glen Rock & his adored daughter Susan & her husband Brian Vogt of Sparta. He is also survived by 6 loving grandchildren: Michael & Kristin Vogt, Grace & Michele Sautner, & Mary & Elizabeth Sautner. He is also survived by 2 sisters: Alice & her husband George Hein of Barnegat & Eileen Rendzio of Lutz, Fla. & a brother Ernest of San Jose, CA., as well as many nieces & nephews. Robert retired in 1998 after 18 years with the US Postal Service in So. Hackensack. Previously he was with the Sherman Printing Co. in Passaic for 26 years and with Felician College in Lodi for many years. He was a parishioner of St. Anne RC Church in Fair Lawn for 40 years. In recent years, he and his wife were weekly adorers of the Perpetual Adoration Society at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Ridgewood. Funeral from Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday at 8:45 AM. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anne RC Church Fair Lawn at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Michael s Cemetery So. Hackensack. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM
