Richard Bischak

June 18, 1941 — March 30, 2024

Richard Bischak June 18, 1941 – March 30, 2024

Richard Bischak a life long resident of Clifton, NJ entered eternal life March 30, 2024 he was 82. Richard was the Beloved husband to Maria Seragusa Bischak, cherished father to Lisa Jacobsen and her husband Glenn, Richard and his wife Marybeth. Richard was a devoted grandfather to Kyle, Nicholas, Allison and Caitlyn; He is also survived by his brother in Law and friend Joseph Seragusa.

After serving our country in the Army from 1962 – 1965 he returned home to Clifton to fall in love with “the girl across the street.” After dating for one year, Richard and Maria were married in 1966. Richard proudly worked for General Electric as a service technician for over 35 years and enjoyed fixing appliances for family and friends in his spare time. Richard spent his retirement doing what he loved – spending time with his grandchildren, traveling with his wife, especially their monthly trips to Atlantic City and fixing appliances for anyone who asked.

Special thank you to Yoconda and Quana and everyone at Arden Courts of Wayne for being such loving and kind caregivers to Richard for the past 6 years. In leu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Greater New Jersey Chapter https://www.alz.org/nj/donate
