Raul Vigil

Raul Vigil, of Paterson, passed away on November 6th, 2022, just one day shy of his 84th birthday. Loving husband to Carmen Vigil. Beloved father to Nancy Pavic and her husband Jose, and Ricardo and his wife Araceli. Cherished grandfather to Chloe, Catalina, and Elena. Raul is reunited with his late parents, Cesar and Julia, whom he adored.

Born in Lima, Peru in 1938, Raul came to America in the early 1960s, settling in Paterson. He was a textile worker for Zenith Dye and Finishing. Raul is remembered for always being happy and full of life. He was known to all as a storyteller who never missed an opportunity to crack a joke. A man of many interests, Raul love food, wine, reading, and western movies. However, nothing was as important to him as his family, which was evident in the way he would sing to his beloved granddaughters.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 9th at 10:30 AM Saint Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Fair Lawn. Committal Service to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery 255 Main St. Clifton New Jersey. Visitation on Tuesday, November 8th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Ave. Clifton, New Jersey.
