Raju Modi

Modi, Raju Michael, 39 of Union City on July 8, 2008. Beloved son of Maria (Lombardo) Ditchek and her husband Jeffrey of Clifton, and Subodh Modi and his wife Penna of Birmingham, Alabama. Loving brother to Elizabeth Ditchek of Montclair and Vicki, Jigisha, Tila and Sarika Modi of Birmingham, Alabama. Raju was born in Passaic and lived in Clifton for most of his life before moving to Union City two years ago. He graduated from the Chubb Institute in 1997. He was a US Navy Veteran where he was a Gas Turbine Technician, he also served in the Desert Storm Conflict. He was employed with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities as an Engineering Technician for 5 years, prior to that Mr. Modi was a Network Technician for Schwab, Merryl Lynch, CSFB. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass at St. Clare s RC Church in Clifton at 10:00 AM. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9.
