Peter A. Pampanin

Pampanin, Peter A. 76, of Clifton on May 17,2010. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee:Synkowski). Devoted father to Paul Pampanin & his wife Karyn of Woodland Park ,Tina Johnson & her husband Keith of Newton, NJ , & Tania Rawley & her husband David of Barnegat, NJ. Adored grandfather to Alyssa & Elizabeth Pampanin, Annika & Malena Johnson and Giovanni Rawley.Brother to Joseph Pampanin of Clifton, Evelyn Buogo of Rome, Italy and the late Viola Rizzotto & Clelia De Ghetto. Mr. Pampanin was born in San Vito di Cadore, Italy and came to the US in 1949 settling in Clifton. He was a member of the first graduating class in 1953 at Don Bosco Tech in Paterson. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and later served in the NJ National Guard for 6 years. Mr. Pampanin was a Tool & Die Maker for JMK Tool & Die in Rochelle Park retiring in 1999. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church Clifton and had been a committee member of Scout Troop # 4 Clifton. He was a charter member of the Knight of Columbus Immaculate Council Clifton. Mr. Pampanin was also a member of the Italian American Family Association & Old Friends Beneficial Club both of Clifton. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 9:15 AM. followed by a 10 AM Funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery No. Arlington .Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Eva s Program or St. Jude s Hospital would be appreciated.
