Pasquale "Patsy" Candela

Candela, Pasquale ”Patsy”, 89, of Elmwood Park passed away on January 14, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Concetta. Loving father to Lisa Terranova & her late husband Victor of Garfield & Joy & her husband Richard Stone of Montgomery, TX. Grandfather to Alyssa Terranova & her husband Aiden Free, Caroline Terranova & Allie Pisula. Patsy is also survived by his companion Barbara La Russo
Mr. Candela was born in Bagnoli del Trigno, Italy and came to the US in 1948 settling in Clifton and moved to Garfield in 1961 before moving to Elmwood Park in 2015. He was a Logistic Engineer for the Teamsters Union and was an army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Garfield Senior’s Center, the Italian American Family Association in Clifton and a member of the VFW Post 3484 Saddle Brook, Korean War Veterans Association. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Thursday at 9:15 AM followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery visiting Wednesday 3-7 PM.
