Chypak, Olga (Mecznyk), 91 of Wayne, passed away on April 5, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Jaroslaw Chypak. Dear cousin of Moczula and Jackens Family.
Olga was born in Lviv, Ukraine and came to the United States in 1949 settling in Passaic before moving to Wayne 40 years ago. She was a graduate of Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria and a Music Teacher at the Ukrainian School of Music in Newark for 29 years. She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Thursday at 10:15 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 11 AM. Interment St. Andrew’s Cemetery in South Bound Brook, NJ. Visiting Wednesday 7-9 PM. Parastas Wednesday at 7:30 PM.
