Mitchell Becker

Mitchell Becker (Mitch ),89, of Woodland Park, formerly of Teaneck, beloved husband of Andrea Becker, passed away on Sunday, June 4th.
Mitch was a chemical engineer, with over 30 patents in his name. He taught Dale Carnegie classes and did mediation for the Bergen County Court System as an avocation while he was still working. After retiring, he had many hobbies. He was on the Board of Directors of Bergen Bonsai, Docent at the Bergen County Zoo, and did volunteer work for the Mental Health Association of N.J. For a short time, he worked as an EMT. He had a passion for animals, so he had an aquarium and 3 cats.
There will not be a funeral because Mitch's wishes were for his body to be used for scientific research.
He is survived by his wife Andrea, daughter Sandra, daughter -in-law Marie, son in law Paul, and 4 grandchildren, Tara, Jessica, Allysa and Ryan.
The family will sit shivah on Monday, June 5 from 7PM-9PM and Tuesday, June 6 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM.
