Michael Jenkins

Jenkins, Michael 77 of Pompton Lakes, passed away on January 10, 2022. Beloved husband of Janice (Danna) Jenkins. Loving father to Jason Jenkins, Scott Jenkins, Michele Jenkins Geitz, Donna Jenkins and the late Richard Jenkins. Devoted grandfather to Jordan Jenkins, Dillon Cilento, Alexis Jenkins, Nick Cilento, Sydnee Jenkins, Dominic Jenkins and Lamarr Jenkins. Dear great grandfather to Bryce Jenkins, Chanel Jenkins and Luke Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins was born in New York and lived in Pompton Lakes for many years. He was a retired detective with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. He was a professional bowler and a member of the bowling hall of fame. He loved working with kids, he coached baseball and was the founder of the Summer Basketball League in Pompton Lakes. He coached his grandson Nick in the Wolfpack Boys Traveling Basketball Team and also coached Dillon and Nick in the IYB Basketball Team.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton, NJ.
