Chaban, Michael, 97, of Clifton passed away on November 27, 2021.Beloved husband of Zofia, Loving father of Michael Chaban & Irene Duncan. Step father of Marek & his wife Helena, and Krystyna & her husband Franciszek. Grandfather to William & his wife Bruna, Mark, Heidi, Pawel Kamil & his wife Stephanie and Dariusz & his wife Agnieszka, Gabriela & her husband Marcin, Dariusz, Witold & his wife Natalia. Great grandfather of Hanna.
Mr. Chaban was born in Univi, Ukraine and came to the US in 1949 settling in Clifton. He was a retired chemical operator for Hoffman La Roche in Clifton for 23 years. He was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic and a member of the St. Nicholas Seniors & the Ukrainian Center of Passaic

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Tuesday at 8:45 AM. Then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Spirit Ukrainian Cemetery – Hamptonburgh, NY. Visiting Monday 5-8 PM. Parastas – Monday 7 PM.
