Brunda, Michael, 88, of Garfield on June 15, 2011. Beloved husband for 65 years of Valentina (Zozyla). Loving father to Peter Brunda & his wife Gina of West Milford, Maria & her husband Gary Prokopowitz of Paramus & Lilly Ann Brunda of Garfield. Grandfather to Matthew, Brittany, Nicholas and Kortney. Mr. Brunda was born in Jaselko, Ukraine & came to the US in 1954 settling in Garfield. Before his retirement he worked as a carpenter for 35 years. He was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church & a member of the Ukrainian Center both in Passaic. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 9:15 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10 AM. Interment St. Mary s Cemetery. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parastas Friday 7:30 PM.
