Mary A. Damiani

Damiani, Mary A. (Abbate), 107, of Jackson (formerly of Clifton), passed away on March 20, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Damiani. Loving mother of Maryann & her husband Roger Belli. Grandmother of Bob Belli & Larry Belli and his wife Janice. Great Grandmother of Joseph & Jake. Dear sister of Frank Abbate of Freehold and the late Peter Abbate, Charles Abbate, Leonard Abbate, Sadie Fasino, Lillian Leo, Frances Martin and Josephine Speer.
Mrs. Damiani was born in Passaic and moved to Clifton in 1949 before moving to Jackson several years ago. She was a seamstress for 42 years with Barrisi Dress Shop in Lodi and was a parishioner of Saint Clare RC Church – Clifton and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union local 156 – NYC.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel on Saturday at 8:45 AM followed by a funeral mass at Saint Clare RC Church at 9:30 AM. Entombment Calvary cemetery. Visiting Friday 3-5 & 7-9 PM www.marroccos.com
