Marion C. Neglia

Neglia, Marion C., 79, of West Caldwell died peacefully at home on December 7, 2007. Daughter of the late Professor John Neglia and the late Antoinette(Zangara) Neglia Beloved sister of Jennie Ciuppa, Wayne and the late Anthony Neglia. Sister in law of Claire G. Neglia, Clifton. Loving Aunt of John I. Ciuppa, Wayne, Antoinette Neglia Russin & her husband Frank, Clifton & John P. Neglia & his wife Deborah, Clifton. Also survived by seven Grand nephews & nieces. And two great grand nephews. Miss Neglia was born in Passaic and lived in the Passaic/Clifton area for 49 years and the last 30 years in West Caldwell. Marion was always a great believer in education and tried to instill this in others. She graduated from Passaic High school, and received a BS degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MA degree from the University of Bridgeport. She was an administrative assistant to the superintendent of the Passaic Board of Education for 43 years. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church Clifton and a former parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church Passaic. She was a member of Ladies of Unico, Passaic/Clifton Chapter, The Geraci Citizen League, St. Philip s Prime Timers, and the Leisure Club of Mt. Carmel Church , Passaic, a life time member of the NJEA and the Passaic County Retiree Educators Association. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Tuesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral mass at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church 10 AM. Interment St. Mary s Cemetery. Visiting Monday 2-4 & 7-9.
