Marianna Gava

Gava, Marianna (Battistuz), 93, of Fullerton, CA formerly of Clifton on October 1, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Lino Gava. Loving mother to Maria Mazowiecki of Fullerton, CA. Sister to Angelo Battistuz of Clifton and the late William Battistuz. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren. Mrs. Gava was born in Clifton and moved to Sarmede, Italy in 1921, she came back to Clifton in 1948 where she resided before moving to California in 1997. She was a drapery worker for De Luxe Cleaners in Clifton for 25 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Clifton and a member of the Cordial Women s Club in Clifton. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10 AM. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery.
