Maria De La Torre

De la Torre, Maria (Rodriguez), 80, of Clifton passed away on May 12, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Angel de la Torre. Loving mother of Felix De La Torre of Greenwood Lake, NY and Elvira and her husband Jorge Soto of Clifton. Devoted grandmother of Amanda, Alyssa, Adriana & Cristina. She was predeceased by her grandson Angel Vincent. Maria was born in Florida, Cuba and came to the United Stated in 1956; she lived in Clifton since 1999. She was an Account Clerk for 27 years working for the City of Paterson, Division of Treasury. She was owner of Fantasy Island Party Supply in Paterson. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Therese RC Church in Paterson at 10 AM. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Cremation East Ridgelawn Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
