Margaret Paccioretti

March 3, 2014 — April 5, 2014

Paccioretti, Margaret (nee Pivirotto) age 100 passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the presence of her loving family and compassionate care giver.  Margaret was born March 3, 1914; she was the guest of honor at a family party celebrating her milestone 100th Birthday. She received the key to the city and a proclamation from Mayor James Anzaldi. It was such a fitting tribute to an amazing woman who resided her entire life in the city of Clifton.  Margaret was born in Clifton, the daughter of Charles Pivirotto and Adelaide Dell Andrea; she was one of seven children sharing a happy, loving family bond with all her siblings. She was predeceased by her sisters Virginia Debiak, Lydia Pivirotto, Flora Kraus, Violet Pivirotto and brothers George and Alfred Pivirotto.  Margaret was a priceless treasure and will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted family. She is survived by her sister-in-law Teresa Pivirotto and brother-in-law Richard Paccioretti, nieces Bernice Swiatek, Jeanie Eddy, Marsha Magliacane and Lenore Donetz and nephews Dennis Debiak Sr., George and Charles Pivirotto, Dean, Robert and Michael Paccioretti. Margaret was blessed to share a special loving relationship with countless great nieces and nephews. She remembered everyone’s birthday with a card and a singing telephone call.  Margaret lived a long, happy, productive, fun loving life. She attended Clifton schools and graduated in 1931. She took pride in her many occupations and worked as an accounting clerk at Hoffman-La Roche for 33 years. Her claim to fame was typing 150 words per minute. Margaret enjoyed bowling, dancing to the big bands at Roseland, crocheting countless afghans, playing rummy tiles and “may I” traveling with her sister Violet, driving her yellow Cadillac and helping anyone in need. Margaret was a woman of strong faith; she was a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Clifton for 80 years occupying the second pew every Sunday along with her sisters. She was charitable, always volunteering for countless jobs at the church and working Tuesday night bingo for over 35 years. Margaret’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She had a beautiful smile and a generous caring heart which she shared with all. Her love and memory will forever be remembered by all the lives she richly blessed.  Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass to celebrate Margaret’s wonderful life, Saturday, April 26th, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church corner of Clifton and Randolph Avenues, Clifton, NJ 07011.
