Marcelle Herlan

Herlan, Marcelle (Hatem),89, of Clifton on June 1, 2013 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late David Herlan. Loving mother of David Herlan of Honeybrook, Pa. and Rick Herlan of Carrollton,Texas. Grandmother of Jennifer, Kevin, Marissa and Jeffrey. Great Grandmother of Anthony and Brandon. Mrs. Herlan was born in Paterson and moved to Clifton in 1977, residing with her niece Annette Dalton for the last 7 years. She was a Financial Auditor for 33 years with the A & P Headquarters Paterson. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church Clifton and a long standing member of the Rosary Society and Legion of Mary. Marcelle and her sister Lorraine chaired the annual Polenta Supper at Sacred Heart for many years. She was also a member of the Clifton Moose Lodge. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10 AM Entombment Calvary Cemetery Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Jude s Children s Hospital would be appreciated.
