Madeline Hatem

Hatem, Madeline(Karam), 97, of Clifton on April 6, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Paul N. Hatem. Loving mother to Paul M. Hatem & his wife Anne of Clifton and Barbara Hatem-Walther & her husband Paul Walther of Norwood. Grammy of Patricia & her husband Todd Lukas & Paul Walther & his wife Christa. She survived by her great grandchildren Theresa, Joey, Stephen, Cameron, Aiden, Pierce, Bryce & Joshua. Sister to Nellie Hatem of Totowa & Albert Karem of New Bern, NC. She is predeceased by her siblings Thomas, Mitchell, Eddie, Raymond, Isabel & Laurice. Mrs. Hatem was born in New Bern, North Carolina and moved to Clifton in 1960. She was an office clerk for 23 years with A & P Supermarket in Paterson. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church Clifton. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10 AM Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Inlieu of flowers please contribute to Hospice of New Jersey.
