Lydia Hartford

Lydia Marsch Hartford, 64, of Riverdale passed away peacefully on February 6, 2023 after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Beloved wife of Glenn Hartford. Predeceased by her father, Theodor Marsch. Devoted daughter of Mary (Klym) Marsch. Loving sister to Helen Marsch, Maryann Marsch-Hoydysh & her husband Walter. Missed by her beloved pets, Sasha, Boris, Nina and Maks. She is also survived by many cousins.
Born in Passaic, Lydia was a graduate of Passaic High School, Class of 1976. She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Lydia was Assistant Vice President at Valley National Bank in Wayne. Married in 1983, Lydia and Glenn moved to Riverdale where they built a home and always welcomed family and friends. Lydia loved gardening, dancing and decorating her home for Christmas and for her Halloween birthday. Lydia leaves behind family and friends who will forever remember the love she brought to them all.
Funeral from Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Ave. Clifton on Saturday at 9:15 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10 AM. Interment at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Hamptonburgh NY. Visiting on Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for Ukraine Relief Efforts:
