Lubomyr "Lou" Dumanovsky

Dumanovsky, Lubomyr (Lou), 86, of Warwick, NY, passed away on August 4, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Adriana. Loving father of Sandra, Mariana, Tamara & Paul (Jill). Grandfather of Daniel, Michael, Stephen, Hannah, Joey, Jake and Alexa. Great-Grandfather of Adalynn, Nicholas and Elijah. Brother of the late Irene Ferencevych.

Lou was born on April 24, 1932 in Chortkiv, Ukraine and immigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina before coming to Queens, NY in 1967. He lived in Hillsdale, NJ for 41 years, before moving to Warwick, NY in 2010. He spent his last years at Valley View Nursing Home in Goshen, NY.

He was an accountant with Savin Business Machines in Valhalla, NY for many years. He was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic, and a lifelong member of P.L.A.S.T.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Valley View Nursing Home for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation would be appreciated.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton on Wednesday at 9:15AM, then to Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery No. Arlington. Visiting Tuesday 5-9 PM. Parastas Tuesday 7:30 PM
