Marinari, Louise (Negele), 78 of Clifton went peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 26, 2024. Predeceased by parents Josephine and Joseph Negele, sister Dolores McDonough and sister-in-law and best friend Lynne Negele. Beloved mother of Deena and her husband Rick Maksym of Paramus, and Joseph Marinari and his wife Miyuki of Tokyo, Japan. Treasured Grandmother to Alexa & Richard Maksym Jr. Survived by brothers Dennis Negele and Thomas Negele, brother-in-law William McDonough, nephew Douglas McDonough and many cousins, and devoted companion Bill Cudnyj.
Louise was born in Passaic and was a lifelong resident of Clifton. She was proud to be a graduate of William Paterson University and was a teacher in the Clifton Public Schools for 25 years. She was a true nurturer and made a difference in the lives of every student she had. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Clifton. She enjoyed reading and cooking. Aunt Louise was everyone’s favorite. She spread joy and happiness wherever she went. Louise loved being with her family. She was always extremely proud of her children. The greatest joy of her life was being a grandmother. She attended every event her grandchildren took part in. Her grandchildren loved her beyond measure.
Viewing will be Friday February 2nd from 5pm -9pm at Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at 10 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church in Clifton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider donating in remembrance of Louise Marinari to the American Cancer Society.
