Louis C. De Simone

De Simone, Louis C., 96, born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Passaic, NJ since 1943. Mr. De Simone was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS degree in Industrial Engineering. He was employed at the Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Wood Ridge, NJ in a supervisory position in the quality engineering department for 43 years before retiring in 1979. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church in Passaic, NJ and was certified as a Eucharistic Minister and lector. He brought Holy Communion to many home-bound parishioners for over 30 years. He was a Past Grand Knight of the Perez Council Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Fourth Degree Bishop Stein Assembly 0645 serving as a Sentinel. He was also past Chairman of the United Passaic Organization and served in the United States Army with an honorable discharge. He was pre-deceased by his first wife Angela (nee Lauricella), three sisters and one brother, his birth mother Catherine, second mother Mary Grace, Father Alessandro, and has been survived by his present wife Carmella E. Beierle De Simone whom he has been married to for 30 years. Over those 30 years, he has been loving Father and Grandpa Lou to Louis J. Beierle III and his wife Carol and their five children & David J. Beierle Sr. and his wife Nancy and their three children. He has also been a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church at 10 AM. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery.
