Louis Coan

Coan, Louis, 77 of Clifton on April 3, 2008. Beloved husband of Lidiana Coan. Loving father to Danny and his wife Angela of Wayne, Elisa and her Husband Robert De Stefano and Louis J. and his wife Catherine also of Wayne. Brother to Rosie Tomasella and her husband Louis of Little Falls, Joseph Coan of West Paterson and Clara Zava of Marreno Di Piave, Italy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. Mr. Coan was born in Passaic and raised in Cimetta, Italy. He came back to the US in 1947 settling in Clifton. He owned The Coan Ceramic Tile CO. for 45 years. Mr. Coan was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Clifton. He was a former member of the Italian American Association, Old Friends Beneficial Club and the Sussex Plains Sportsman Club in Sussex. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton on Monday at 9:45 AM. Funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10:30 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 7-9.
