Dr. Louis Bertolotti, 94, of Clifton
Born in Clifton NJ , passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday September 29th.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eugenia Bertolotti (nee Masutti) Loving father to: Theresa and Dr. Joseph DeLucia of Clifton; John and Kelly of Paramus; Louis and Theresa of Tenafly ; Benjamin of Clifton. Also survived by Niece Dr. Vera Masutti; Nephew Anthony Masutti; Grandchildren Constantine, Chiara, Louis, Talia, Fina, Marina and Giulia; great grandchild Joseph; and many cousins both here and in Italy.
Graduated from the University of Padua, Italy in 1956 he practiced general medicine in his beloved city of Clifton. He was the City’s physician and practiced at St Mary’s Hospital, St Joseph’s Hospital and the Passaic County Jail. After 40 years of serving his patients he spent most of his time traveling extensively and in his later years was happiest tending to his vast and abundant garden. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 8:45 AM, followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM.
