Lila Jean Wilson

Wilson, Lila Jean, passed away peacefully July 23, 2011 at Daughters of Israel Nursing Home in West Orange, NJ. She was born Sept 16, 1924 in Mineral Ridge, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas Arnold and Agnes Mae Davis. Lila lived and raised her family in Niles, Ohio; she worked many years in retail at McKelveys and The Loft. She later retired to Cranberry, NJ with her husband Herbert to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Carla (Bob) Sommer of No. Caldwell, NJ, Cynthia (Bob) Desberg of Scottsdale, AZ and Lauren (Kevin) O Connor of Doylestown, PA. Grandchildren: Adam Sommer, David Sommer, Evan Desberg, Doree Desberg, Jordon Kivitz and Allie (Dustin) Nulf. She is predeceased by her husband Herbert A. Wilson and her brother Laurence Davis. Lila will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her love for her family. Private services will be held at a later date.
