Libby Lenkowsky

June 14, 1934 — February 17, 2006

LENKOWSKY, Libby, born in Bronx, NY to Morris and Lily Botwinick. She lived for the last eight years in Manchester, NJ and prior to that in West Orange, NJ. She had two brothers, Nathan and Jeffrey Botwinick who are deceased. She is survived by her spouse, Lewis Lenkowsky and their three children: Lynne Davis of Florence, MA, Harold Lenkowsky of Bloomfield, NJ and Paul Lenkowsky of Grand Prairie, TX. She has four grandchildren, Mollie and Jenny Davis and Anna and Kristina Lenkowsky. She graduated from Bayonne High School. She worked as a book keeper and nanny and primarily as a homemaker. She was very active in the West Orange Public School PTO. She was a Cub Scout, Brownie and Girl Scout leader. She established and was president of the North East C.B. Radio Club. She was a ham radio operator. She was an expert and teacher in crafts of all types. Memorial gifts may be sent to the American Cancer Society or Meridian Hospice, Monmouth Shores Corporate Park, 1340 A Campus Parkway, Neptune, NJ 07753. Graveside service on Sunday 11:00 AM at King Solomon Cemetery which is located at Allwood and Dwasline Road.
