Lewis A. Molnar

Molnar, Lewis A., 83 of Clifton on January 8, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Helen (Novak) Molnar. Loving father to Lucille M. of Morris Plains, the late Helen Ann, Kenneth L. Lewis and his wife Deborah of Passaic, NJ and Nancy L. of Belleville, NJ. Grandfather of Monica Roscoe of Wood Ridge, NJ Christopher Lewis and Anthony Michael of Passaic, NJ. Great Grandfather of Andrew AJ Roscoe. Mr. Molnar had worked for over 50 years as an employee then owner of a graphic arts and microfilming company. He served 71/2 years in the US Marine Corp in the South Pacific,Okinawa, China, Quantico, VA, Dover, NJ and Camp Pendleton, California. He was born on August 26, 1925 when his parents moved to West Virginia then Youngstown, Ohio returning 17 years later to Passaic. Prior to his wife Helen s death he moved to Clifton. He was a member of the China Marine Assn. He was a parishioner of St. Nicholas RC Church- Passaic where he served as a Eucharistic minister and lecturer. He was a member of the Perez Council # 262 Knights of Columbus Passaic where he served as a Grand Knight, a faithful scribe and Past Faithful Navigator of the Msgr. Stein Assembly #645 Fourth Degree Knight - West Paterson Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Monday at 9:15 AM. Funeral mass at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church-Clifton at 10 AM. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visiting Sunday 2-7 PM. In Lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to the Perez Council #262 in the name of Helen and Lewis Molnar.
