Michaliszyn, Katarzyna (Strojny), 90 of Clifton, passed away on June 23, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Eliasz Michaliszyn. Loving mother of Eugene and Michael Michaliszyn. Sister of Matthew Strojny, Mary Szczerba and Bazyli Strojny.
Katarzyna was born in Kulaszne, Poland and came to the United States in 1978 settling in Brooklyn, she moved to Clifton in 1989. She was a sewing machine operator for 12 years and was a member of Amalgamated Clothing & Textile Workers Union Local 25 in Brooklyn, NY.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel. 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 8:45 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery – Hamptonburgh, NY. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parastas Friday at 7:45 PM.
