Schafer, Joseph Patrick, 68, of Paterson on December 18, 2009. Beloved husband of Irene (Najda). Loving father to Christina Alexis of Belleville. Brother to Alice Schupp of Largo, Fla. & Debra De Mattio of Dover. Mr. Schafer was born in Hackensack and lived in Garfield for 25 years before moving to Paterson 10 years ago. He was a Marine Corp. veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a Pump Station Attendant for the Passaic Valley Water Commission in Little Falls for 14 years and was a parishioner of SS. Cyril & Methodius RC Church Clifton. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Tuesday at 10:15 AM. Followed by a funeral mass at SS. Cyril & Methodius RC Church at 11 AM. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM
