Giardina, Joseph Jr., 80, of Garfield passed away on June 2, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Constance (Montagnino) Giardina. Loving father of Joseph Giardina III of Tenafly and Emanuel Giardina of Staten Island, NY. Devoted grandfather of Stephen Giardina. Dear brother of Edward Sal Giardina of Nutley and Louis Giardina. Mr. Giardina was born in Brooklyn and lived in Garfield since 1989. He worked at Mason Tenders Laborers Union Local # 23 in New York City for 37 years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church in Garfield. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church at 10 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
