Joseph V. De Liberto Jr.

De Liberto, Joseph V. Jr., 93 of Clifton, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024. Joseph was born on May 12, 1931 in Passaic to Joseph and Vincenza (Sferlazzi) De Liberto. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy I. De Liberto. Loving father of Donna De Liberto-Vogt and her husband Peter, the late Diane Reilly and her husband Jeffrey, Joseph De Liberto & his wife Debby, Robert De Liberto & his wife Alice. Devoted grandfather to Brian Reilly & his wife Krystina, Kristin Reilly, Scott Reilly & his wife Shari, Alyssa Mateo and her husband Richard, Alexandra Zeszotarski, and her husband Glenn, Jenna Feratovic and her husband Emill, Chelsea De Liberto-Shank and her husband Trevor, Haley De Liberto and her fiancé Gray, and Joseph Vogt and his wife Cassidy. Cherished great grandfather of Joseph, Vincent, and Danica Reilly, Robert and Vincent Zeszotarski, Luca Feratovic, James Reilly and Aria Mateo. Brother to Sarah Lombardo, and her late husband Fred, Adeline De Vries, and her husband Jack.

Joseph was employed by the United States Postal Service for 31 years, he also worked at Marrocco Memorial Chapel for 30 years. He was a parishioner of St. Paul RC Church and was a member of the St. Paul’s Leisure Club and honorary member of the Rosary Society. He was also a member of N.A.L.C, Clifton Federal Credit Union and the DAV #8 in Clifton.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel- 470 Colfax Ave. Clifton on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul RC Church at 10 AM. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
