Josef Huda

Huda, Josef, 92 of Clifton passed away on May 30, 2016. Beloved husband of Maria (Nestuik) Huda. Loving father of Irene Sylveser of Barnegat, Bohdan Huda of Midland Park and Michael Huda of Jensen Beach, FL. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Josef was born in Bokiv, Ukraine; during WWII Josef was forced laborer as a fisher man in Germany. He came to the United States with his wife and children in 1951 settling in Passaic, they moved to Clifton in 1965. He was a custodian for 15 years at Montclair State University. Josef and Maria were going to celebrate their 70th Wedding Anniversary this year. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Ave. Clifton on Friday at 9:15 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10 AM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parastas Thursday at 7:30 PM.
