Vill Neuve, John of Passaic on March 26, 2007. Beloved husband of Frances (Camera). Loving father of Joanne Wiley of Passaic, Mary Rekker of Clifton, John Vill Neuve of Ft. Laudedale, Florida, Frances Liddell of Passaic, Patricia Tully of Wayne and Charles Vill Neuve of Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Vill Neuve is also survived by a brother Howard Vill Neuve of Woodridge and his 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Vill Neuve was a Parishioner of St. Nicholas RC Church - Passaic. He was a World War II Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre. He entertained with Lenny Ross during WWII and was a recipient of the Medal of Honor from The Korean Government. Employed at Bendix from 1954 to 1987 as a Contract Administrator, he worked long hours on many contracts for NASA including the Moon Landing and Space Shuttle. He worked on the instrumentation for the DC-10 Lockheed, C-141 Lockheed S-3A, F-18 and F-19. Mr. Vill Neuve served as Commander of the Gerald V. Carroll Post 161, Vice Commander of the Passaic County Veteran's Alliance, served on the Board of Managers at Preakness Hospital for 17 years; 16 years serving as President. He served on the Planning Board for the City of Passaic from 1974 to1984, the Board of Adjustments for the City of Passaic from 1988-1994 and the Democratic County Committeeman for 20 years. For his hard work and dedication Mr. Vill Neuve received the Bronze Pelican Award from the Catholic Committee on Scouting Boy Scouts of America. He Chaired the Mausoleum Committee for St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Passaic. He was also the Sergeant at Arms for the NJ State American Legion. Funeral from the Powell-Marrocco Funeral Home 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Nicholas RC Church Passaic -10 AM. Cremation East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 2-4 7-9 Mr. Vill Neuve was also founder and benefactor of the St. Labre Indian School. This is where the family wishes contributions in lieu of flowers.
