SANDY, John W. 65 of Clifton on October 18, 2006. Beloved husband of Cheryl nee Waller. Devoted father of Kim Ward and her husband Jeff of Chester, Vermont, Amy Kozell and her husband Robert of Clifton, New Jersey, Beth Sevidal and her husband Mike of Clermont, Florida and John and his wife Amanda of East Stroudsburg, PA. Cherished Grandfather of Joshua, Jacob, Daniel, Kody and Rexx. Dear son of Catherine and the late John Sandy and Dear Son-in-Law of Helena Waller and the late Michael J. Waller. Mr. SANDY was born in Passaic and has lived his entire life in Clifton. He was an Allstate Insurance Agent at the Allstate Insurance Agency in Oradell for 38 years, retiring in 2002. He was a musician for 45 years being a member of The Stan Skawinski Orchestra for 30 years. He was a parishioner of St. Brendan RC Church in Clifton and an 1st Lieutenant in the US Army having served for 3 years during peace time. Funeral Monday at 9:15AM from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton, Funeral Mass to follow 10AM at St. Brendan s RC Church, Clifton. Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 7-9. Mr. John Sandy was a big supporter of his daughter Amy s non profit group that rescues homeless and injured animals.
