John Da Casto

Da Casto, John, 97, of Clifton on November 23, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Mary Da Casto (Hayde). Loving father to Diana Carroll of Manasquan, Suzanne De Luca and her husband Michael Canger of Clifton and Thomas Da Casto and his wife Patricia of Glen Rock. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Da Casto was born in Staten Island, NY and lived in Elmwood Park for 35 years and in Whiting for 30 years before moving to Clifton 3 years ago. He was a maintenance man for 10 years at Minolta Camera in Ramsey. Prior to that he worked at JL Prescott Co., Lincoln Park Federal Boiler in Midland Park and Bethlehem Steel in Staten Island, NY. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Monday at 10:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church at 11 AM. Visiting Sunday 5-8 PM. Cremation East Ridgelawn Cemetery.
