John A. Ball

Ball. John A., 82, of Passaic on August 2, 2008. Beloved Husband of the late Miriam Hass. Mr. Ball was born in Detroit, Michigan and has lived in Passaic since 1948. He retired as a supervisor in 1985 from Con- Rail in Oak Island, NY were he worked for 35 years. Previously he was an agent for Freight Lightning & Stations Department for the Erie Lackawanna in Hoboken and Port Newark. Mr. Ball was a World War II Navy Veteran and served in the South Pacific Theatre in Okinawa. He was a member of the Railroad Christopher Society and the NY Rail Road Agents Association. A parishioner of St. Nicholas RC Church in Passaic, he was also a former member of the Holy Name Society. Mr. Ball was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Perez Council Passaic Family and friends are invited to a Funeral mass on Wednesday 9:30 AM at St. Nicholas RC Church - Passaic. Interment Hillside Cemetery Lyndhurst. Arrangement are by the Powell-Marrocco Funeral Home 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton.
